Megan

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio,Megan has called Murfreesboro home for the past five years. She began her career driven by a lifelong love of animals and a passion for helping them feel better when they’re sick.

Megan earned her Associate Degree in Applied Sciences from Tri-C before completing her licensing as a Veterinary Technician. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked in both general practice and shelter/rescue medicine, bringing a wealth of hands-on knowledge to every patient she treats. She is also Fear Free certified - Elite. Megan joined Blue Oasis in 2020, drawn by the clinic’s commitment to Fear Free care and the opportunity to work in an environment that aligns with her values.

Her special interests include venipuncture, blood collection, and catheter placement—skills she has refined throughout her career.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys reading and gardening (though she jokes that finding free time is a challenge with a small child at home!). Her household is joyfully chaotic, shared with two bearded dragons, three dogs, and one cat. She is also a die-hard Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan, proudly representing her hometown spirit.
